The project is a comprehensive remodel and upgrade to the existing facility with a small addition to accommodate functions that have previously been performed outdoors.  MOI provides training and employment for developmentally disadvantaged people through commercial laundry and thrift store functions.  The building also houses a laundromat for public use and provides aluminum recycling facilities for the community.  While the building was in a significant state of disrepair, it was determined that it was nonetheless a good candidate for a remodel versus building new.
